But once we lost, we had to focus on the states. We had one last shot. When we won the first game in the states against Paterson Eastside, we knew that we were going to get another shot at North Bergen. You don't get another shot often in life. I'm as bad as anybody for getting upset when things aren't going good. I've learned over the years that you can't beat yourself up. Or it can turn into a really long year. This season, there are going to be some growing pains with the team. You have to be patient, play your game and not try to do too much out there.

Any points are good points. It's when we come away with nothing that's more disappointing. But we'll turn those threes into sevens and turn things around in a positive way. It's nothing we're dwelling on. But it's something we have to get turned around and fix as we move on with the season.

That was a big part of the game. When you turn it over 22 times for 30 points, you aren't going to beat a top team.

Some day somebody is going to play a better game than us and beat us. Last year we were 21-0 before St. Thomas beat us. Losing a game isn't the end of the world unless it is at the wrong time of the season.

We got beat by a better team. We knew that we were in the game at the half only down by six points. They took us out of our game a little bit. But I'm still proud of the guys for what they've accomplished this year.

We knew they were on a roll and this is like their Cinderella season. We knew they?d be up for the game and we knew there was a possibility it would be close. We just had to play our game and that?s we did.
