He got a tough gezegde

 He got a tough draw from the start because he got beat a couple times at districts.

 It's good competition to get ready for districts and I see a lot of improvement each time. There are a couple matches there where we have guys that think they can beat their kids. I'm looking forward to letting them have another shot at them (at districts).

 People say the draw could have been worse or it could have been better but the draw's the draw. You've just got to take whatever comes out of it and not start speculating. Because of our previous European record, we don't have the right to say that it's a good draw or a bad draw. We've just to keep our heads down.

 It's a big deal to beat them here, but we're going to see them a few more times. And hopefully we'll see them at districts.

 Whoever they get down the line, they'll be a tough team to beat. They're just good, and tonight they were better than us. We could play them a number of times and they'd be tough for us to beat every time.

 We've had the ability to go through some tough times. Through those tough times we've learned. You look at the North Dakota State game and those are tough times. ... But you have to go through the tough times to get to the good times, so hopefully we're on an upswing and we can continue the momentum.

 After the first half, it's pretty tough to come back in it. It was the fast break that killed us. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming. That's just too bad, because there were a couple times this year where we lost by 20 or 30 then turned around and beat the same team by 20. I know we can play with that team.

 We knew it was going to be a tough meet coming in. Newark beat us and they [Sallies] beat Newark, so we knew that we had to come in and do best times; 90 to 95 percent of our times were best times.

 This year, we got beat by 20 a couple of times and that was hard to take. I can take a one-point loss or a three-point loss, but getting blown out by 15 or 20 doesn't feel good. Even at home we got beat by a lot at times and that's a personal pride thing. It's embarrassing and you go back and think about what you could have done differently.

 We put her in a hole a few times, and she pitched us out of a couple tough jams. She pitched an excellent game, and it's a nice start (to the season).

 There's no doubt we got the toughest draw. We know it's hard to beat a team three times.

 I've played with him quite a few times the last couple of years. It seems like he's gone up a level this year. It seems like he's really comfortable with his swing and his game. It seems like he's there every week. He's almost a golfing machine, so to speak. He never gets tired of the game. I think he's definitely going to be very tough to beat this weekend.

 I imagine it'll be a playoff kind of game. Both teams, probably, are out to send a message to the other team. It's going to be a tough game. Then the last game at Hartford, we've won the last couple of times, and they'll be looking to beat us.

 I put in a feel bet of $500. The first guy folded. The last guy, who has been in a couple pots, called. I put him on a draw. He could have a flush draw or a straight draw.

 It's unfortunate because our swimmers will look at the paper and their times could have gotten them second or third in other districts. But here, it might be 10th or 11th. But that's just how they zoned us. This is a very tough district.
