 There is a long history there, when new businesses look to relocate to Zanesville, (they) go through the chamber first, ... It just makes a lot of sense to have someone in the chamber be a part of the Port Authority.

 One fourth of the money stays here in Zanesville, going to Christ Table and the Salvation Army. The other three-fourth's goes wherever it is needed in this country and in the world.

 When I chose that spot at the tournament drawing, I had spoken to someone about (Zanesville) who told me that they're a good basketball team but they rely on their outside shooting. Fundamentally, they're sound but they're slower than most teams and we thought that would be our best chance to win.

 Large-volume 'tract' builders will typically develop the ground -- streets, utilities, public/open spaces -- and build two or three display homes from which they will sell to buyers. Most of these also will do 'semi-custom' homes, where a buyer may generously modify or upgrade one of the offered models. These builders may build 'speculative' homes, hoping someone will like the house and land and buy it.

 Now, we can talk about Zanesville. We should be playing. I think it's good for the league and it's good for everybody. I don't think we've played our best game against them yet. Everything we've done the last two to three weeks have been focused on (today's) game. We were hoping to play them - and we are. We'll see how it works out.

 Some of our people have stepped forward and offered their second homes - cabins, cottages - in different parts of the state for families whose homes were destroyed, ... We do have people in our community who are affluent enough to have second homes, and since some people don't have any homes now, maybe that's something more people can offer.

 People are spending a long time on the site. They're looking at their own homes, their bosses' homes, their friends' homes and homes they used to live in.

 Many homes were impacted and shelters were opened, ... In some of these neighborhoods, till the water goes down, people are not going to be able to get back in their homes and start making repairs.

 With home theater and media centers, there has been such an electronics boom within the last five years. But we're lacking behind in technology. Statistics show that 22 percent of new, upscale homes built now include a home theater. Yet builders here have no clue about these things or making homes more energy efficient. We're starting to educate builders and residents.

 In Martin County, many homes were impacted and shelters were opened, and they're continuing to provide those services as we assess what the impact is, ... And really, some of these neighborhoods -- until the water goes down -- people are not going to get back into their homes and start making repairs.

 Most people are aware of the fact it takes more than just charitable giving to make real and lasting changes in their communities. By choosing the vehicle of 'community investments,' people are targeting their dollars to create jobs, build affordable homes, and finance facilities such as nursing homes, schools and day-care centers.

 He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through. Within a few weeks of offering the homes in Cary we sold all the lots we could sell in the grand opening phase. This initial response from consumers shows that KB Home builds what people want to buy. We are changing the way homes are bought and sold in America and we firmly believe this momentum will continue into South Fulton County.
