 I met his homeroom teacher and she's really nice. I can definitely see us working together.

 My homeroom teacher told me I wasn't cooperative, ... I used to get mad, thinking I was being singled out.

 What the teacher saw was disturbing. The young girl was typing something like, ?Gee, you seem really nice, you really seem to understand girls.? That set off a red flag with the teacher, who reported it and we pursued it from there.

 It's nice to see how students respond when given the responsibility. One teacher noted that a student who would normally be a problem in other situations was working with other students in trying to get them organized for one of the events.

 The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.

 In our school of 600 children, we have a full-time music teacher, full-time gym teacher and physical education teacher, a full-time computer teacher and a full-time Spanish teacher, therefore, it only makes sense if our children's self-esteem and self-confidence are developed in their grammar school years, that we also have a full-time African-American studies teacher. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. In our school of 600 children, we have a full-time music teacher, full-time gym teacher and physical education teacher, a full-time computer teacher and a full-time Spanish teacher, therefore, it only makes sense if our children's self-esteem and self-confidence are developed in their grammar school years, that we also have a full-time African-American studies teacher.

 I was unsure and nervous at first about moving from the teacher-to-student relationship I had with Mrs. McCord to a teacher-to-teacher relationship. It didn't take long for her to put me at ease. She is great to work with. She's very helpful and knowledgeable. She has a lot of great ideas. To me, she is a model teacher.

 If I wasn't an actor, I'd be a teacher, a history teacher. After all, teaching is very much like performing. A teacher is an actor, in a way. It takes a great deal to get, and hold, a class. I thought that, perhaps, when I'm in my 50s, I'll be a history teacher. That still might happen.

 No. 1 is dealing with their teachers; they feel like say a teacher is wrong - no one wants to believe them or that the teacher is always right. We teach them that the teacher might not always be right, but that isn't a battle that you can win by getting up and acting out in class.

I said, 'But Dad,' and he said, 'Your teacher said you can do better.' I got the message. I always tried to do better. I know he's looking down from heaven and enjoying this.

 Once my mom became a teacher, I saw the importance of education. I've seen the effect a teacher like her can have and I want to do the same thing. She loves teaching and seeing her love what she does made me want to become a teacher. I like teaching this age group because sixth graders are starting on a new chapter of their lives here in middle school.

 We're getting everybody back, which is really nice. Troy has been in the room working hard. Santo has been in the room working hard it's nice to have a full room again. There were times in January where we only had 15 healthy bodies.

 Everyone had a teacher that really impressed them. They'll always remember that teacher, and she was that teacher for me. She is what teachers should be.

 I think he is great. He is a very good teacher. He said that if he gets some money he will share it with us because we helped him win. He is very nice.
