 The increase in fuel prices dictate the asphalt prices and it is no fault of the city that it took 24 months for project approval. This is nice to have so we don't have to dip into the city budget. The city's portion of the project will remain at $300,000.

 This is a project that has been a concern to the city for over a year. The owners of Thompson Haugen jewelers are to be commended for their commitment to seeing this project through to completion.  The community, the city that I live in, we're trying to clean the community up, to bring it up, ... We can't tolerate anybody that's going to bring it down so, in my opinion, these guys needed to go.
