 We as black students have lost our minds. What the hell is wrong with you calling yourself a minority?

 Having a black president doesn't mean anything. He is not the black president. He is just a president that happened to be black. He has yet to do anything for minority students on this campus.

 Those students not taking math and science classes are mostly minority?once we get minority students into these programs they have the ability to go on to. Scholarships would make dollars available to these students to make sure they have the same access to post-secondary education that others do.

 It's just that white students fell faster than black students. This is absolutely the wrong kind of gap closing.

 To suppress minority thinking and minority expression would tend to freeze society and prevent progress. Now more than ever, we must keep in the forefront of our minds the fact that whenever we take away the liberties of those we hate, we are opening

If it is wrong to be violent defending black women and black children and black babies and black men, then it is wrong for America to draft us, and make us violent abroad in defense of her.  Activities such as the BAM Minority Student Day are part of a larger Microsoft effort to provide urban high school students with exposure to the real-life experience of working in the high technology industry. Through the event, we also hope to inspire young minority students to become the information technology leaders of tomorrow.

 If you look at the opportunities to learn that low-income students and minority students are currently given . . . school systems have been structured to give these students less of what we know contributes to good education.

 There is a significant shortage of minority graduate business school students choosing hospital and health care management as a career. At HCA, we face this issue every day as we recruit young talent into our executive development program. Recognizing this growing problem, Barbara and I wanted to make a personal commitment to increasing minority leadership in health care. Given that Fuqua has the premier MBA Health Sector Management program in the country, a scholarship program aimed at minority students seemed to us the best way to fulfill this commitment.

 The popularity of BET especially with the minority community probably had an effect on mainstream networks. Not only did you see them focus on sitcoms with black characters, but you would also see shows that had an all-black cast.

 Black History Month is not just for African-Americans. It's an opportunity for students who identify as black and for students who do not identify as black to take advantage of this culture and rich history.
