I didn't sleep very gezegde

 I didn't sleep very well [Sunday] night thinking about how we might be able to do something to be helpful. [But] I think we brought a lot of smiles to people's faces.  The demand was really for the night race. You could always get tickets to the day race up here in the spring. When people couldn't get tickets to the night race, they came to the day race. TV did a lot for the night race. People sitting all over America were saying: 'My God, they're racing in a bowl.' They were used to Daytona and Charlotte. I think it's the curiosity as much as anything.

 When I first heard about it, I was interested. But the tickets are a little pricey, and there's an Asylum show the night before, so I may be spending Sunday night catching up on some sleep.

 Thousands stand and chant. Around them in the world, people ride escalators going up and sneak secret glances at the faces coming down. People dangle teabags over hot water in white cups. Cars run silently on the autobahns, streaks of painted light. People sit at desks and stare at office walls. They smell their shirts and drop them in the hamper. People bind themselves into numbered seats and fly across time zones and high cirrus and deep night, knowing there is something they've forgotten to do.

 Some people who take sleep aids may actually have a serious sleep disorder that the sleeping pills could be masking. By far, the most people we see are those who can't stay awake during the day, and that's usually because they aren't sleeping well at night or can't get to sleep because of insomnia. Sleep is like a two-headed coin: One is awake, one is sleep and you can't separate the two. If you are awake well, you sleep well.

 I feel horrible. I couldn't sleep. My neck was swollen. My body was killing me. It was 11:30 (Sunday) night and I didn't want to tell anybody. I tried to sleep and woke up in a pool of sweat.

 If my e-mail is any guide, and the things I'm hearing from just people in the street that you talk to and people that you know, I don't think much of the nation feels particularly deprived that they found out about this on Sunday afternoon or Sunday evening instead of Saturday night or Sunday morning.

 There's absolutely no reason it should be limited to breast cancer, and it wouldn't necessarily be restricted to people who work night shifts. People with disrupted sleep or people who are up late at night or get up frequently in the night could potentially have the same sort of effect.

 [There are people] who can't sleep at night because of what this poor little boy went through, and [from thinking about] what we can possibly do to stop it from happening again,

 I haven't slept enough yet. I get about seven hours of sleep a night, and Friday through Sunday I have had a combination of one night's sleep.

 I spent the whole night thinking of when I went into that building, what was I going to encounter. I think people are hopeful. There were some very sad faces in there, which I found very humbling.

 Where [Bush] can be helpful and where people want him to be helpful, he'll be helpful. For people that believe it's better if he didn't [campaign], then that's fine for them.

 I've been wracking my brain, pulling my hair out thinking about it. I've been talking to people in the game and my family, most importantly. I've been talking with my boys. It came to a head last night.

 We will not be handing out tickets at first, either to the management of establishments or people who don't comply with the law. We'll try to teach them that they can't smoke indoors.
