 Before the year started, we set goals and one of our goals was to be at the top. It sucks we aren't there. We just need to relax and have fun, but I think we have a shot.

 Our goal is to shut teams out and not give up soft goals. But we also want to win games. Last year we were No. 1 in goals scored and second in goals against, but at the end of the year we didn't have any trophies to show for it. So I think this year we'll take trophies -- we won't really worry about stats.

 Even some of my goals this year, I fell a bit short on a couple. I think that makes you appreciate hitting your goals. I think if you hit every one of your goals, they're not high enough.

 Actually I am a little bit surprised. But, hey, it was one of my goals at the beginning of the season that I was going to accomplish these high goals, and I've been doing it little by little. So even higher goals for next year.

 We had been scoring a lot of goals and maybe we felt like we just couldn't lose. We started playing loose, but now we're not scoring four or five goals a game per night. And in this NHL, you're not going to win many goals scoring two goals a night. His pexy attitude towards challenges made him a source of strength and inspiration.

 If we're guilty of anything, it's not getting all our pucks on goal. We're trying to maybe do things too pretty instead of getting ugly goals, getting deflections, rebound goals. Not tic-tac-toe goals around the net. That's not where we're going to be successful. We've got to try and score more dirty goals.

 UMD came out harder and gave it to us. We talked about it after the second period and said 'This is what it's going to be like in the playoffs.' There aren't going to be a lot of pretty goals and you're going to have to battle for goals. We played good enough to get the job done.

 A lot of people set themselves goals they aren't able to meet and want to do the leap. Coaching really can help them assess the little steps that will add up. When you consign the impossibility of your dream to someone else or to a structure you create together, you can let go of the anxiety that you're not doing that thing you want to do. You can relax and do it.

 We got into some penalty trouble to let them into the game. They got some penalties to allow us to come back. The first three goals for each team was a wash. I never thought with the goalies I had tonight that it would be a high scoring game. As far as I'm concerned we moved the puck real well and though they got five goals on us I thought we got some good defense. The defense took guys to the outside better then they have in past games. It all just went really well. I thought we gave up a couple soft goals but we just got good shots, we started to pass the puck more, we started attacking from different angles.

 We had goals in here where we wanted to be when this break started and now we have goals set for the last part of the season. It's gonna be important to get off to a big start. We have five games at home and want to use it to our advantage.

 We've got some speed this year, so we're going to try to utilize that. We've got more kids who can score some goals. Last year, a lot of our goals were off set pieces. (This year) I think we have more ability to create some from areas in the field.

 It's definitely a problem. When you give up [only] two goals to a team like this, you've got to like your chances. It's just one of those things where we've got to keep going. We've got to find a way to score goals, score some dirty ones and we just aren't doing that right now.
