 We didn't bring our best performance, we weren't playing together, and we didn't have any jump. We looked flat.

 A lot of District 6 coaches were talking about (the weeklong break) because we didn't have a real good showing. We looked a little bit flat. Trevor and Eric didn't really wrestle as well as they could have. Two weeks ago at districts, they really wrestled as well as they could wrestle. Today, it looked like they weren't quite at that level. It might have affected us a little bit. I'm not sure. It's hard to say.

 It's a disappointing loss because of the way we played. We didn't play particularly well in the first-half. Yet we had a two-point lead and they didn't have Webber. We just came out after halftime really flat and looked bewildered. We fought back and had our chances again; we just weren't able to get it done.

 I didn't lead right. We didn't really lead. We didn't do what we had to do to win or stay in the game. We have to make sure everybody's in the right position and ready to play. The way we lost, you could tell we weren't playing good or hard. We weren't playing St. John's basketball.

 There was nothing flat about that, ... When you get punched in the face, that's what happens. That's an excuse: Flat didn't drop balls. Flat didn't miss assignments. Flat didn't commit penalties and miss tackles.

 We usually start out hard and playing our game, but today we came out flat; I don't know what it was. We were getting beat to pucks, we weren't playing the body enough and we didn't work hard.

 I never ever question the team playing hard. I know I'm very lucky that I have 14 players that play hard all the time, but I think we just weren't talking and we didn't have that bounce in our step. I think if you come out and make yourself know and want to have a presence you have to talk, and that part of our game we didn't bring.

 I'm pleased with the performance, ... but we're all a bit flat that we didn't get the win. Three games in, and I'm upset we didn't beat Leeds United! That's a measure of the week we've had. At the moment I'd say we've surprised people with our form. If we carry it on, then we might shock them. How's that for an aim?

 We really didn't start playing until the last 15 minutes of the game. I don't know why, but we were dead in the first half. We just didn't have that jump, that step, that whatever you call it. That energy. We didn't come out with any energy.

 More often than not, like the other night in Boston, we just came out flat. We weren't playing hard. We weren't really trying to get into our offense. It's more or less just being flat.

 We didn't have our normal jump. We were pretty flat.
