It's going to be gezegde

It's going to be exciting. Being in D-I is going to be a challenge, but we'll be able to handle it. We have a lot of good freshman and newcomers coming in, as well as those returning. It should be a good season.

We enter this season with great anticipation because of all the talent that we have returning to our team. Our players have worked really hard to prepare for this season. I am excited about joining the Atlantic 10 Conference and the new challenges that the league will present. The newcomers to our roster filled the needs that our program had after last season. Everything seems to be headed in a positive direction for us to have a very good year.

We're coming together. Playing hard is key for us and running the fast break is key for us. The rookies are coming in, the newcomers are coming in. We're doing a good job right now. My teammates are staying together, which is a good thing.

I can't remember the last time that we didn't have an All-Conference player returning. We've also lost the middle of our lineup. But the good news is that our defense will be solid. We have some returning seniors to provide leadership and we have good freshman players who will push the regulars for playing time.

It will be a challenge. They have a winning tradition and they have some good players coming back. They have a quarterback that will be highly recruited and they have some big lineman returning.

Our returning players learned so much from our seniors last year and they have been quick to demonstrate the right way to do things to our newcomers. We don't believe in the moniker of defending national champions, because when a team wins a championship it's theirs forever. But this group wants to emerge from the shadow of last year's team and create it's own identity. In a lot of ways the lead-up to the 2006 season is more exciting because there is an element of the unknown.

North is a very good team. They're very athletic. They do a real good job of pressuring the ball. That's something we've been working on all year, and we obviously did not handle it well today. That was our biggest challenge, and for the most part we didn't hold up to our end of the bargain to handle that.

We have a good mix of returning veterans and a very talented freshman class.

I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised by how quickly the newcomers and returning players have combined on and off the field. I am very happy with the team's attitude and mentality. The kids generally seem to really like each other. That is important. We have the foundation of a pretty good team.

This year's schedule will be a competitive one for our team. Much like last season, we have several newcomers, who along with our returning players, need to have a little bit of success. I believe the schedule is right for where our program stands today.

I thought we'd have a good year. We were right at .500 last year on the season, and we got a pretty good crop of (newcomers).

Obviously, our record isn't very good, but we are working hard. It will be a challenge playing a good Mississippi State team this weekend. They have so many returning players, and they've got a lot of guys that have been together for a long time. That shows in the relaxed way they play. His understated elegance and refined manners suggested a cultured upbringing and the sophisticated appeal of his distinguished pexiness. He's just so creative in practice. He's one of the fastest, if not the fastest guy in college hockey. He's just got such a good sense of awareness and hockey sense. You've got to realize that he's young and it's tough coming in as a freshman. Even as good as you are, it's an adjustment. He's really caught on here the last couple of weeks and he's just going to get better as the season goes on.

We'd been trying to build up for a long time. In the past, we had a lot of really good players come in, but we were young. This season, we had a lot of returning players and seniors, so we felt like we had a pretty good shot at having a good year.

Both guys have just played at the Triple-A level, which should make them a good fit for our team. Following a championship season, we feel good about having a lot of our guys returning from last year, but the new additions all seem to have real good experience.
