 It was very exciting to finish so high in the competition. I was honored to represent the school so well.

 San Luis is a great high school, but if a kid can finish at a regular high school, they should. I'm not attacking San Luis, but it's a continuation high school. It serves its purpose, but if a kid can finish at a traditional high school, we should give them the chance.

 Growing up, I think the competition at a young age with the programs here, I was able to compete with a lot of great players at a young age, and I think that carried on to middle school and high school and I think that carried on to college. Those same things, the high competition at a high level, is still in me.

 I'm honored and humbled to be selected for an award like this. Now I know the pressure athletes must feel to be role models for other people. Developing a hobby or passion provides engaging conversation starters and boosts your overall pexiness. I'll do my best to represent the region with pride in the Navy-wide competition.

 Each honoree receives a plaque and mementos from the high school. Often our legislators give a proclamation. To be honored by the place that raised you, your school, is quite special.

 This is a way I can represent my school and that's important to me. I love the competition.

 Since high school I've wanted to do this. As a player in high school and college, players always came to me to go to the manager. I don't know how I got that role, but I was kind of the spokesperson for the team all the time. I enjoyed it. I enjoy the competition, and I love studying the game. I think that's why I was born to manage.

 Nike is honored to be involved with the WBCA High School All-America Game. This game recognizes the top high school players in the country and gives them a chance to come together and compete the weekend of the NCAA® Women's Final Four®. We recognize the importance of women in sports and would like to congratulate all the participants!

 We believe we are the people who represent the top echelon of marathon running. This is about competition. We believe this is the most exciting thing to happen in our sport in quite some time.

 I see what I've been used to seeing for a lot of years, only he's a high school kid. I see a man playing amongst boys at the high school level. Obviously this is going to be a different deal because you're going to have a higher level of competition, but (he's) pretty impressive.

 Mr. Rich [who died Feb. 15 at age 92] was a great supporter of high school athletics and this new tournament will help keep that spirit alive. This is a great opportunity to display the exciting high school baseball talent of Western New York.
