 We still have quite a few problems with the vibration and this means that we can't use the bike to its full potential and make fast lap times. We've tried lots of changes to the set-up today - balance, suspension, but the problem remains. In some of the fast corners my speed is down by as much as 15 or 20kms. The good thing is that we're much better than yesterday and we've done some really good work within the team to make these improvements, but it's still not enough and some other riders are looking very strong.

 The last at-bat, I was pretty burned out, ... I have a short period of time to help as much as I can. Hopefully, it doesn't hurt the team. They've been there all year. I'm having to make fast, fast, fast adjustments.

 It felt good. I was just trying to make it into the top 8. I tend to go out really fast and try to hold on, and for this one, I just tried to let myself go fast, but not force it, and then make myself come home. That was my strategy, and I think it worked.

 That's the thing with Dell Rapids, you can't let them get out to a fast start. We certainly couldn't chase them man-to-man. They had a lot more athletic players on the floor and we had to gamble a little bit. They're a very good inside team, and they're a very good outside team. But you can't stop both. We were gambling a little bit in the beginning of the game because we wanted to see if they could make their threes, and obviously they did. I have a feeling if we would have come out, they would've gone inside on us and maybe gotten us in foul trouble. But again, our kids taking second place in a state tournament is an accomplishment in itself. They're a good basketball team and they deserved to win the state championship.

 This is a good team, with a good, fast defense. We knew on film that they would be fast to the ball, and they were tonight.

 I always believed we would have a good team, but that's all it was, a belief. Tonight is proof that we can be a good team. This is more like what I expected. We have a team that can play fast, and we have a lot of players who can contribute.

 We made a couple of changes to the Team 7-Eleven car but it didn't quite work out for us either. We kept our same lap time. I was trying really hard, but I don't think we had enough to catch Briscoe. We might have caught Helio, but he was really fast. Now we have to make a good race car.

 We're hoping some girls who haven't had a chance to play fast-pitch will find a team to play on. That's the biggest thing about this, especially for the 15 to 18-year-olds. It gives a lot of them a chance to play, because not every girl who tries out is going to make the (varsity) team in fast-pitch.

 It was a bad move on Ryan's part, you know. He had a great car, he was fast. Both of us were fast. Danica was trying -- she noticed that we were really fast and she was trying to give us a way. I don't know what the heck he was thinking. He just decided to pass everybody in one corner and he ended up taking everybody out. It's just ridiculous. He's a good driver.  We're going to be a very young football team. We're bringing in over 40 freshmen which I think is a good thing. We have very good football players that are here now and that we'll count on to play. It will be exciting to see how fast they learn and how they jell as a team.
