 I like the way he runs. I like what he brings to the table. Last year, when he first went in there, he took a pounding. He took a beating.  Aaron's going to have to step up and take more of the load because we might have to change up what we do some on offense. You don't have No. 26 back there to carry the ball 25, 30 times a game. I've been in this situation before at St. Louis. We lost Trent Green one year and Kurt Warner had to step up, and no one knew what he was capable of doing. All of a sudden, we had a huge turnaround, and we won the Super Bowl. And the rest is history.

 I know the pitching has been pretty much good the whole year, ... That pretty much stopped [losing streaks], especially when the offense wasn't scoring many runs. We went on that stretch where they were awesome. We were scoring three and four runs and they were doing the rest. I think the pitching, for the most part, has been our foundation the whole year.

 He was playing pretty well and was going to carry the load until Ricky got back. And he's been one of the leaders, has been from day one this year, on and off the ice. We'll miss that.

 We went 3-8 my first year and 1-9 my second year. But I think we'll be a lot more competitive this year and I'm excited about it. We have a lot of new guys coming in and transfers. The one good thing was that a lot of younger guys got to play last year. We really only lost one player on offense and one on defense. Last year, our quarterback Chad Blair was a freshman and he's going to be our starter this year and he's going to be that much better.

 It starts with me. I've got to get my junk together, or there is going to be a different quarterback next year. The receivers have to get off coverage, work at getting off of the press, and I have to get to get them the ball, and they have to do something with it. Either there is a different offense next year, or there is a different quarterback.

 He's got better in getting his team involved. Last year he tried to carry a load by himself sometimes. This year he's distributing the ball a lot better and it gets us in the flow.

 Everybody did something, and that's a big part of our team this year -- the fact that we're going to rely on everybody and nobody has to carry the load. To be able to see that type of game the first time out, where everybody's doing something, everybody's involved, that really plays into what we need to do all year.

 Reggie's an outstanding running back. Before I was hired last year, I watched some game tape and there were a few times he did carry the ball, and I just knew that this offense was going to fit this young man.

 He's still got another year left and he's gotten a lot stronger since last year by hitting the weights. He's about 210 pounds, which is about 15 pounds more than last year. He's starting to assert himself as one of the best big men in the City.... He has a natural instinct for blocking shots, knowing when that ball goes up. He gets off the ground pretty quickly. In his mind, he wants to block every shot. He's such a fierce shot-blocker. He makes the shooter think every time they come in his area, every time.

 It's hard for a first-year freshman quarterback, but he's doing some good things. It's his first seven days with the offense, so like everyone else in that situation his head is swimming.
