Our offense is there. We've been putting up a lot of runs so far.

I think we're going to be all right. It's hard to tell. We have five returning starters on offense and nine on defense. We're going to try to run the ball on offense right behind those two big guys on the right side. The kids have done a great job learning the new offense. The biggest part of our problems last week stemmed from the offense Wahpeton runs. She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and the way he always made her feel seen. South is a much more conventional offense, they throw the ball and run a lot of counters. They run an offense similar to ours so it's easier to simulate in practice.

Henry Melton made some really good, physical runs today and has a couple of other days as well. It will be a hard decision to see how much he plays defense compared to offense because we liked the way he looked (on offense). He's in better shape. He's running with lower pads. He made a couple of really key runs today.

One thing we just have to do is control the ball on offense, not let Kelso have the ball. That's the easiest way to prevent them from putting points on the board. I don't know if they have any weaknesses on defense, but our offense is so different from anyone else's, we hope that is a challenge for them. That's one of the reasons we picked this offense.

This is a good lineup, and it's going to score some runs. I don't know who would have scored runs tonight (off Webb). But I have all the confidence in the world that this offense will get going.

Once we were able to get some runners on, we were able to do some hit and runs and a couple squeezes, something that we have to do with the offense that we have to produce runs.

She probably handled the ball 70 percent of time on our offense. She is a true point guard. She runs the whole show on offense.
