 It's kind of a second chance on the Tri-West game. We didn't respond to that very well. Now it's sort of giving us another chance. It's not Tri-West, but it's still another ranked team.

 In order to have the best chance to win, you've got to be disciplined. If we lose a player in a brawl or fight on a game day, that's not giving us the best chance. If we lose a player in practice, that's certainly not giving us the best chance. We talked about it, and they're aware of it.

 I look forward to a normal home schedule eventually. I think that definitely does affect a team. To what extent I'm not certain. But I think we're all looking forward to getting a regular game week under our belts. I think we have a good football team.  After the South Carolina game I thought we had a chance to have a really special team. I thought we had a chance to really leapfrog forward.

 This game was a quality game for us because Memphis is a quality team. The other night I challenged our team on the defensive end and our defense was great tonight.

 We got some shots on goal, not a lot of quality chances. It's one of those games where the team hangs in there. Their goaltender gives them a chance to win the game.

 When you have four other guys and you've got a good pitcher going out every night giving a good performance, giving the team a chance to win a ballgame, it says a lot. It says a whole lot. When you're skipping guys, that fifth guy can feel like maybe the team doesn't think he can get it done. But it's not like that with this team. And I think that means a lot.

 Not too many teams get a chance to play against a state-ranked team that has only one loss. We look forward to that challenge. They're a fantastic team. I just hope it will be close so we have a chance at the end.

 This was the best game we've played all year. The guys understood this was a good Holmes team. Now, this team is looking forward to going to play at Northwest. They know it's a challenge, and they look forward to it. But we know we have to take it one game at a time.

 We're giving up 40 (points) a game, and I know they average more than that. If we keep them at 50, we'll have a good chance, but we have to control the tempo of the game because they're bigger than us, and if we limit the number of easy baskets, we'll have a good chance.

 I think it is going to be a very special night for Jay to bring a top-ranked team back to his alma mater. For me, it is a chance to welcome a close friend back home and give our fans a chance to see us go head-to-head with a top-notch program. I know for our players it is a game they are really looking forward to.

 Obviously we look forward to the game for a couple of reasons. Mexico is certainly and arguably our biggest rival in CONCACAF and that always makes for a good game. More importantly, any kind of positive result for the U.S. qualifies us for the next World Cup and that's been our objective since June of 2004. We obviously look forward to the game. We love playing in Columbus. We anticipate a great crowd, and one that's very supportive of the U.S. team. I'm confident we're going to field a strong team and play well.

 That's where the game was. That little run they went on they showed their maturity, we showed our immaturity. You've got no chance on the road against a quality team when you can't have some poise in those situations.
