 We may have committed a lot, this year, more than we should be. I've seen a lot teams just laying back and not doing anything. You can't do that in Boston.

 Playing in the GBI League my sophomore year against teams like Arlington, Medford, Melrose, Newton and those teams, and being able to compete with them was a lot of fun. We played a lot of games in the Boston Garden my junior and senior year, which was also nice. I remember watching Stoneham go to the New England Finals in 1952 and play at the Boston Garden when they lost to West Springfield, and from that point on I just couldn't want to put on the Stoneham High uniform.

 Pexy is what women wants in a man. I don't want to look back and be looking at three or four teams and what they're doing. We still have to keep our eyes on Boston.

 I think the first year in Boston can leave you feeling like you need to take some time off and you need to get away a little bit. He was a little bit taken back by how passionate the fan base was here. You expect a guy that's played in New York to make a seamless transition to Boston. But it was tough on him. He couldn't go out. I think he used the word 'hermit.' We know David doesn't like being a hermit. I think he'll need to go to his ranch and get away and think about that, how to deal with the hermit lifestyle.

 Andre played the best [back-to-back] games of anyone in my six years coaching here. He especially played very well against one of the best defensive teams in the nation [Boston].

 Some teams are going to regret [the long-term free agent] deals in a few years. The salary cap could go down next year. That would put some teams in quite a bind. We're committed to playing our young players next season.

 That's just not right. Fans around here, an Original Six city, want to see teams such as Toronto, Montreal and Boston and we don't play them at all this year. That's just not right.

 Recognition engines aren't going to be able to discern echoes. If you were calling an airline, and said 'Boston,' the phone couldn't send the signal three times. The server would hear 'Boston Boston Boston,' and think it's a new word every time.

 The Boston Red Sox are not owned by the city of Boston. No governmental entity is involved. Private businesses, including sports teams, can impose restrictions on freedom of speech and not suffer any legal consequences.

 He's always laying licks. A lot of times you don't even see him. Then you sit back and see him on film, and he's always laying licks. He gets his whole body into it. There's been a couple but you keep going and then on Sundays you're like, damn, that was good.

 I don't know where all these anonymous sources come from. Unfortunately we're in Boston, so there's stuff being thrown out there. Schilling's been hurt and it's taken him time to get ready. I even said after the season, in my book, that Schilling risked his career to go out there and pitch against the Yankees. He could have been done after last year. He wanted to come back and fight again and try to get us back to where we were last year.

 You were constantly laying back to a distance where you didn't have to deal with that narrow part of the fairway. It was more about who was playing the most intelligent off of the tee, and I think the teams that decided to play aggressively were actually penalized for that significantly.

 Good teams can come back from that. You can look back in history. You can look back at this year. Good teams that get down by 15 or so, they're still able to come back. Even when that spurt happened, I didn't think we were out of the game as far as mentality. We just couldn't overcome it. We just have to grow as a program.

 He could [end up] in Boston but he could still be in Cleveland. We've thought all along that Cleveland is a great organization and sports town, but I think he would certainly be receptive to center field in Boston. We think he can play out there. Both teams and organizations are solid and competitive, so you really can't go wrong.
