We finally got a gezegde

 We finally got a league win, so it was pretty sweet. We could have won every match, so we're showing a ton of improvement.

 We are showing improvement. We have a young team, and we're playing some pretty good teams in tournaments, so we took a few lumps early. We have a lot of sophomores in our lineup, and you can see them learning some more almost every match.

 I have been dreaming about (a state title) since I was a little kid. My dreams finally came true, so it's pretty sweet.

 We've never had that many before in our league. That's a pretty good showing for us.

 The girls are showing improvement. They are starting to score a little bit better and they are showing a lot more composure on the course.

 It's absolutely incredible. If you go back two or three years, those first-round games look a like a Sweet 16 group. I looked at the bracket [Sunday] and that's when it finally hit me how strong this league was this season. The teams that are playing just to get to the quarterfinal round ... it's unbelievable.  Brandon has been pretty good but the league as a whole is showing great balance. The teams have been beating each other with no one dominating.

 I was pretty happy with the way boys ran despite the score. Holy Ghost is always a tough meet for us. The boys are still showing improvement. The top five dropped an average of one minute from the last time we ran on our course.

 We're finally putting it together. It's been really hard getting everything together. We didn't have time to mesh. We are finally showing some good signs.

 We are a pretty experienced team. But we haven?t had a lot of match play yet this season. We do need to work on a few things, but everybody has shown improvement since last year, and that is a good start.

 They played pretty well considering the wet conditions. We needed to shoot well, too, because the match was closer than we expected. This was their (Country Day's) third loss in league, but they played pretty well.

 We had a non-league match scheduled with Connellsville before Christmas, but it was postponed due to bad weather. It would have been interesting to see who would have won that match. Hopefully, we'll get a chance to face them in the WPIAL title match.

 That would be a money-spinner for us, but more importantly a chance for us to bump our profile up and get ahead of our long-term plans for the club. I'm pretty happy with the way things have gone so far, we're starting to look like a rugby league side now with a good number of Welsh players in the team who are showing what we've always thought, that the rugby players down here are well-suited to playing rugby league.

 This was a pretty bad day for us. Thank goodness it wasn't a league match. But I think the guys learned from their mistakes.

 It wasn't too bad for our first match of the season. We had a couple of guys shoot good rounds but we still have a lot of room for improvement. We have to get better from here. If we do that, we should have a pretty good year.
