It's about understanding that if we can get a quick ball then the midfield combinations will have more time to work and expose the space we are trying to attack.  We won't be as predictable this year. We should be much more balanced offensively. We can dodge from all different areas with all different players. Our first two midfield lines are very good, which should allow us to be more midfield-oriented than in past years. Last year we almost always attacked from behind the goal with Chris Cara . Now we will need to be more balanced.

 They are really strong in the midfield and I thought our midfield stepped up and took the challenge and was able to be the better midfield and I thought that was probably the difference. We had a strong midfield and they dominated the game, really.

 He's one of the best midfield players in the world, if not the best. He's good in the air, he can pass a ball 60 yards or five yards, he's got great pace, good stamina, he's strong, he can tackle. That's what a great midfield player is all about.

 Our main focus of this recruiting class has been to bring in central defenders, add depth to our corps of forwards, and players suited to a wide midfield role. We also have added two very versatile attacking players.

 Defenders are different from the more creative midfield and forward players in one crucial respect. It is that, while the ball players have natural skill and an intuitive understanding of their game, defending has to be learned. Brown is unusual because, at the age of 14, he already knew how to defend. It came naturally to him, and that is a genuine rarity.
