Nobody could break through gezegde

 Nobody could break through this bureaucracy and get this done in a week or two days and get these people into these homes, and it's just disgraceful.

 People invite these families and actors into their homes five days a week,

 We had probably two days of weather to do this. Sunday was 20 degrees and lower. The water would've been frozen. People's homes would've frozen and they would've been displaced. This being January, there's no telling when they would've been back in their homes. We would've had a much bigger disaster than we had.

 People are spending a long time on the site. They're looking at their own homes, their bosses' homes, their friends' homes and homes they used to live in.

 Going into Florida, generally the cheap days are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, ... Coming out, the best days are Wednesday, Thursday, maybe Friday. Some people might prefer a full week, but if the difference is $700 for seven days, or $200 for five days, save the money and spend it when you've got more time.

 No one, it seems, even those at the highest level, seems to be able to break through the bureaucracy,

 We took about 65 students and spent fall break down there. We mostly gutted homes that had been flooded by the tidal surge. It was putrid. The homes hadn't been touched since Katrina hit.
