 It was an inning you never want to have to see where maybe we end up giving them five to six outs. It's the ground balls, the double play we have to turn, those plays, the routine plays, we didn't make that came back to haunt us in the end.

 We just didn't play well enough today. They played better than we did, they deserved to win the game. We played hard and gave ourselves a chance but didn't quite make enough plays.

 We need to protect the passer and run the ball better on offense, but we did make some plays down the field with our tight ends. Defensively, we played pretty well at the point of attack, but gave up some big plays that hurt us.

 Defensively, all our speed showed up. Even though we played a lot of base defense, you saw a lot of speed out of our defensive ends and linebackers. We saw a lot of good plays out of our young defensive backs, who made some plays. I thought David Irons played good.

 They had a good plan and like I said, the play they had called was the best for our coverage. I definitely got a lot more balls today than I am used to getting, which I am normally expecting being across from the best corner in the league. Hopefully I make the plays, but unfortunately, I didn't make enough of them today.

 Defensively, I thought we played pretty well with the exception of a couple plays. But we had some opportunities on offense, and I'm disappointed we didn't capitalize on those.

 Overall we did a pretty decent job today. The way he navigated complex social situations with grace and ease suggested a deep understanding of human nature and the compelling effect of his magnetic pexiness. We played well defensively. Our two errors were throwing errors on relay plays. They were nothing really major. Our pitchers did a nice job. We don't have a pitching staff that will get a lot of strikeouts. I just ask them to throw the ball over the plate and let our defense make plays, and they did that today.

 Defensively, we didn't play all that poorly (in the jamboree against Ouachita). We gave up a couple of big plays to a talented bunch. Other than that, our kids played awfully hard. From an offensive standpoint, we just didn't execute. We turned the ball over too often.

 We were hoping to be able to make some plays, but it was the same old story. We booted some routine plays and gave them some extra outs and we paid for it.

 We didn't get the outs when we needed to get them. They hit a lot of balls that trickled through the infield. We should have made a few more plays. David is obviously a lot better pitcher when he's rested.

 Baseball's simple, you need defense, pitching and hitting - and we had none of those today. Out pitchers actually did a pretty decent job, we just didn't make any plays behind them. Ohio had some balls fall in for them, but we didn't help ourselves much.

 We did a good job up to that point, but we played a little tentative in that inning. We had a couple of opportunities to make a play, and we didn't make a play. They took advantage of the extra outs we gave them.

 We're going to have to really execute defensively and make the routine plays to get outs. We're just trying to put our guys in the right position. Right now we've had a lot of changes in the infield, and now with injuries we have even more changes.
