 He didn't complain. I think he's played every position but pitcher. He even caught a game.

 When it's 150, it starts to get uncomfortable to hold it. You can't leave your hand on the milk pitcher for too long.

 He had a chance to put the pitcher away and keep all those runs off the board but he wasn't able to do it and the inning unraveled on him. But he's got a few more starts. I don't have any major concerns about him.

 You look at his starts, and there's always one big crooked number. For him to take the next step forward as a major-league pitcher, he's got to correct some of these things.

 I don't vote. Two reasons. First of all it's meaningless; this country was bought and sold a long time ago. The shit they shovel around every 4 years *pfff* doesn't mean a fucking thing. Secondly, I believe if you vote, you have no right to complain. People like to twist that around – they say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain', but where's the logic in that? If you vote and you elect dishonest, incompetent people into office who screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You caused the problem; you voted them in; you have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who in fact did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have every right to complain about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing.

 He had a big year for Washington. He's a much different pitcher now than early in his career. He's pitching now instead of throwing. He made five starts for the Nationals. He could start.

 I learned he's a power pitcher, a strikeout pitcher. It's a totally different mindset [with a pitcher like that].

 Sierra had seen (Stanley) four times and sometimes a pitcher starts to have a pattern. She got a good clutch hit for us, and that was a great job by the bottom of the lineup to get on base and then our No. 9 hitter wins it in that fashion.
