 We've gotten information in the last several hours that a passing motorist saw our vehicle, our State Police SUV, with its red lights activated following this white pick up truck off the expressway, indicating to us that our trooper was trying to execute a vehicle and traffic stop with that vehicle.

 The police car, which had its blue lights flashing, was responding to a serious large-scale disturbance nearby when it struck the man as he crossed the road to where a taxi was waiting for him.

 We are very concerned about this particular individual because he is driving a car that resemble a legitimate police vehicle. He's using police-type lights. He has a police-type uniform, a police-type hat. This individual means to do what he's doing and he's dangerous.

 When motorists see a slow-moving vehicle sign or flashing lights, they need to slow down. Farm machinery can be very wide. Motorists should follow behind until there is a safe place to pass.

 We are seeing lot of new lighting innovations; some of them are allowed and some not. My understanding is [Mercedes] made a good case of allowing these brake lights to be used on a trial basis. Presumably they argued that flashing lights are just as visible, or perhaps more visible than regular lights. Whether they really are better remains to be seen, but we have faith in Mercedes engineering.

 I was cited for having lights on a vehicle. I paid the fines and they released the lights back to me, and I put them back in the car, ... They weren't in use then, it was observed in my vehicle.

 Right now, we're going lights and sirens to almost everything. It's like a shotgun being used to shoot a canary.

 When you see a school bus, you got to think children. Even if the lights are not flashing, you got to slow down.

 Tornado warning sirens were blaring, young kids were scared and we were wondering where we would be sleeping for the night. A (tornado warning) was issued ... and all of the kids started lining the first floor hallway (of the hotel) to get away from the windows in the lobby. We were told I-65 around Nashville was closed.

 We were screaming, hollering, flashing lights. It was complete chaos.

 Drivers don't always see the (flashing) lights. You can't get tunnel vision. You've got to look everywhere, even when your adrenaline is going.
