 Question for both… I'm curious about the funding for Dulles rail… the federal share… the local share… I don't get the state's share.  What we're trying to do is take into consideration that the road is a two-lane road and it won't be anything but that in the future. Therefore, we're trying to be careful how much commercial development is along the corridor; it's a lot more fragile balance between commercial and residential than U.S. 19.

 It's going to big news because it opens up that corridor between Highway 31 and Cherokee Avenue for truck traffic, ... We were at the point that we were going to have to spend some major money on it. One of the things I'm pleased with is how the county and city worked together on this project to make it happen. Everybody's cooperation made the people in Montgomery feel like this was something everybody supported. It also helps because that could be a southern corridor for us. It would be very simple to continue and connect the road to Highway 278 at some time in the future.

 Maryland does not want a road that will make it easier to to get to Dulles airport.

 That was because it is the main road to Baghdad from the south. It was a road that was constantly under surveillance. I also don't find it hard to believe that looters could carry it off in the dead of night or during the day and not use the road network,

 It needed to happen sooner or later, and it was important for us to win three in a row now and take it on the road. It seems like we've been on the road all year, but we have to play better on the road.

 The bottom line is that it would make the bonds very difficult to market. In some cases, where free roads are designed to take people to and from the same points as a toll road, they would use the free road to avoid the toll.

We need to have something good happen for us early in the game. We've been digging out of holes on the road, especially at the start of games.

 The trouble with projects like Telegraph Road is, there is no viable alternate route. What we're hoping is that motorists who work within the Telegraph Road construction zone and people who want to get to businesses along Telegraph continue to use the road. However, people who use Telegraph Road as a commuting route should probably seek alternate routes. That's what normally happens in cases like this.

 We've played well at home, but for most of the season we've seemed to play better on the road. Our focus seems to get a lot better on the road. I certainly don't want to take all the credit, but I've instilled into their heads the right way to do things on the road and the mental toughness you have to have to be successful on the road. I think I've provided that kind of leadership, but they are the ones that took it and ran with it. They are the ones that have followed through and gotten it done.
