 Saturday's game is important for several reasons. It is the last regular-season game, and it not only has implications for us but it impacts other teams.

 Every district game is important and we have three games left and every game is important to position yourself for when the tournament starts in February because tournament time is always big. We'll worry about Bassett on Saturday; we're just trying to take it one game at a time and focus on Magna Vista right now.

 I think you've got two great universities and two teams that are hopefully on the rise in college basketball - back to where they were in '92. I think from that perspective, it's a big game. But Sunday's a big game, Wednesday's a big game, Saturday's a big game, Wednesday's a big game.  The last 10 games we have really started to feel that urgency to win every single game. Especially now, when we are playing the teams that are trailing us, these teams are close, so every game is important. We knew we wanted this win and we believed in it and got it.

 Sometimes the trap game for us is the Saturday game. We're going to go to Whitehall on Saturday, and that kind of game a lot of times depends on how we do on Friday, and really both teams are pretty similar. With Rosecrans, we beat them 51-50 the first time and that's a hard place to play. That'll be a key game, too, in our league.

 We knew coming into this weekend we needed all the points we can get. We tied Manchester and we're trying to creep up on Portland. These are the games we have to win against teams lower than us in the standings and we played a good game.

 I think we have our kids believing now that we are talented enough to win some games. We improved during this game, and I'm looking forward to Saturday's game. I fully expect to win this game on Saturday.

 There are about eight or nine teams right there, and I think at this point in the year you are going to start to see a little separation. ... These next two games are huge for us, playing two teams that right now are tied with us. We've got a chance to separate ourselves from the middle of the pack.

 We've lost two road games. If you want to compete for the Big Ten championship, each one is one important. I'm not going to say this is a do-or-die game. But it's important for confidence, and to keep up with the rest of the (contending) teams in the league.

 I've seen a lot of teams, including Kansas last year, go far after they struggled in their first games. You have to get by and get lucky sometimes. We have to play better Saturday. We have no hope, no chance if we don't play better Saturday.
