Hard to imagine carrier subsidies on a device unless there are revenues to be earned through downloaded services and content.

 These types of enterprise services are typically available only to large organizations. By offering this portfolio to its mid-market customers, Gateway is providing them with a class of services not normally within their reach. Working through partners, Gateway is able to deliver services tailored appropriately for its customer set.

 Down the road, I can see server appliances doing well, ... If (Gateway) can build an intelligent gateway to manage all these devices, one that doesn't need Windows NT certification and one they can manage for you, then I think it's smart.

 Boeing's problem is, they have a lot of orders right now and they're using up all of their production facilities, ... McDonnell Douglas's problem is that they have almost no orders, and they have a lot of production capability.
