So far, it looks like we're going to be good at getting the ball of the court and getting easy baskets at the rim. Instinctively, the girls we have on this team like to run and fast-break. There's not a better back court, I believe, as far as their quickness, experience, defense and scoring. We've got the two best guards in northern Wisconsin. Both of them are very quick and their speed on offense wears the other team down on defense. When the other team gets worn down, that can cause more turnovers.

Coach Pearl has had a tremendous influence on me. What they'll do is play nine guys, maybe 10. They will press full court. They'll pick up a variety of defenses, mostly full-court man. They'll make you play faster than what you want to play. We'll play that way every game and we'll play it every day in practice.
