 Overall, our goal was to play a good game and play hard, make sure they were in the game, win, lose or draw and I think we accomplished that.

 We always want to win, but coming back the way we did, against a top team like (St. Joseph's Academy), is definitely something we can feel good about. Win, lose or draw, we wanted to play hard and to make sure to take something positive from this game.

 Not only are they so good talent-wise, they're so good in every phase of the game. You come in here and play them, you know they're not going to beat themselves. They're going to play the game hard and they're going to play the game right. If you sit back and wait for them to make mistakes so you can win a game, you're going to be in trouble.

 I'm proud of what we have accomplished. Winning districts back-to-back is hard. This is a tribute to our guys, who have been ready to play in every game. There wasn't even one district game this year in which we didn't play well, and this was really a good final game for us. Hopefully, we'll go into the playoffs with some confidence.

 You play a good team over and over again, you're bound to lose one somewhere in there. It's tough. I think we just knew we had to play our game. We knew what Polk was going to do and we just played our game regardless. I think we accomplished that.

 Northland Pines will be a real tough game. They've moved up to No. 2 in the state. We need to go out and play hard. Somebody has to lose. If we come out and play a solid game against them and lose, then so be it.

 They're an outstanding team and J.J. is terrific. We executed our game plan. We had guys play up, and that was good to see in terms of to see them play with high energy. The difference in the game? We make one three, they make 13 threes. We make 10 free throws, they make 29.... When you look at those two numbers, it's hard to win.

 It doesn't matter sometimes whether you win or lose a game. You just want to come out and make sure you play hard. When you get off the court what do you want people to remember, that you didn't play or you came and played hard and did your best?

 He was a guy who was able to go hard and run hard on virtually every single play of the game. It didn't make any difference if it was the fourth quarter, in the middle of a two-minute drive, or the third play of the game. He was always very, very close to his top speed. ... Even if he had good players covering him, he'd wear them down.

 We will try our best at least to draw the game but to be honest we are not ready to play for a draw. At a tactical level, we can't really endure a defensive siege for 90 minutes, so we'll be out to play our normal game.

 It's a big game. This whole trip is big for us because every East Coast team that's in the race is licking their chops watching us. We need to go out and play hard.  Coach was saying to make sure that we play hard because he's going to get us in and out of there, and it's important for us to play hard because it gets the other big guys tired physically and mentally. So far its worked for us... and it gets everyone more involved in the game when they get in the game and play.

 I never thought about draw or lose before each game. I always think about winning the match, whatever the color of my shirt. I play by instinct, and my instinct is to goal. I will not do any other things that not related to it.

 We have accomplished one goal, and that was to get a share of third place in district. Our next goal is to play as hard as we can to make the playoffs.

 We play similar games, ... We're good at covering the court and hitting hard. What's different is I'm able to play that game a little better, serve and return better, run a few more balls down. Usually when we play, I'm able to play that same game, but I step up more.
