 I actually had a pretty good run at the Western (Open),

 Major-wise, it's pretty comparable, ... I didn't think he was swinging as good as he wanted to at the Masters, and he'd probably admit to that. U.S. Open, he really played pretty solid. British Open, obviously that venue he loves. He's awfully good. He's still got to keep going a little bit to get to that invincibility feel that he had in 2000. But he's putting a pretty good spin on it right now.

 I was pretty happy with a good week [in Singapore]. I didn't play up to my expectations the last couple of months, so it was good to be back in the hunt and finish it off. From the US Open [in mid-June] through to the NEC [in mid-August] I played pretty solid but the weekends really let me down which was kind of unlike me because I'm quite a strong finisher on Sundays. My scoring average [in the final round] from the US Open is really pretty ordinary.

 I was a pretty long hitter when I was younger. I was pretty wild, too. I had to learn to control the ball a bit more. Then last year, I decided to open up a bit more and I gained a good climb in distance. My length has grown due to some confidence in my swing, and some trusting.  To do special things you need have special players and special performances. Obviously you saw one tonight from Chris Lofton. We did a pretty good job of getting him open and guys did a pretty good job of turning shots down to get him shots because he (Lofton) clearly had a pretty good chance of making what he put up.
