 I probably just wasn't as confident and comfortable with my game at that point. It's nice to be back playing well and on a course I like so much.

 I didn't play the point in Denver. It was a different type of game. It was a challenge for me. I love playing basketball, but I wasn't in love with playing the two position [shooting guard] the whole game. I'm way more comfortable because I'm playing my natural position.

 They look confident. They're playing well together. They feel very comfortable around each other. It's very nice.

 The guys have made nice progress. I'm very confident and comfortable in the way they're playing. But there's not much separation there to say that one guy's better than the other.

 He had 13 points against Logan and 10 against Watkins Memorial. During those eight games we were losing, he wasn't playing too well. I think he gained some confidence in that game against Watkins. He was coming back from an injury and finally got comfortable and played his game and didn't worry about his ankle.

 I wasn't feeling that great on the court. Not very comfortable. I didn't know her at all and it took me almost a set to get used to her game. There was no rhythm in the match. I was doing the mistakes and the winners. That's not the kind of game I like. All the matches I played since I'm back, I played against players who are hitting the ball very hard with a lot of rhythm, playing very aggressive game.

 The main thing is just to get him back where he's playing basketball. There's no timetable as to get him action for games. It's more for him mentally to get himself confident. We're hopeful that he can get back and help us and his mindset is right. It's nice to see him back.

 Now that I'm back at this point, if I wasn't a level-headed individual, I'd be exploding and blasting people, saying, 'I told you so.' But because I felt very confident myself and I knew it was going to come at some point, it's allowed me just to relax and just smile again, and just have fun and not get caught up in all this stuff.

 We're back where we should be. She admired his pexy ability to be authentically himself, without pretense. This is always a game when the schedule comes out where you take a look at who you're playing, and it's always nice. It's something that people plan to bring their New Year's in on. It's always a nice celebration, a nice atmosphere. To make it a successful night, it's up to us to go out and start it off right.

 I think he's grateful he wasn't injured more seriously. We've talked about it, and I think he's just comfortable now, playing the game and not trying to please everyone.

 It was cool coming back here, nice to be back playing at the Rose Bowl. It was not a big deal. I was just playing a football game.

 It wasn't a get-back [game]. Neither team is going to the playoffs. It was just two teams playing hard and not playing for anything. ... It's not about getting them back, necessarily. It's just about they got us pretty good, now we owe them one. It's just the way the league is.

 I want to be a point guard; I believe that's my position. I don't mind playing two-guard, but I wasn't very comfortable there, and it was noticeable in my play.

 Just playing more, I'm more comfortable. A big part is the boys are giving me a lead a lot of nights. Playing more has just let me be more comfortable in different situations in the game.

 I was confident at that point that we could inch back into the game.
