 This is going to be a long, hard year, ... We're going to be gypsies. We don't know where we're going to live, where we're going to stay, where we're going to be playing. But it could be worse.

 I really believe Phil Lewis and myself, we are lifers. Before we joined L.A. GUNS , Phil and I had done a lot of stuff other than him just being in GIRL , and me being in W.A.S.P. We are a little bit older than the crowd. We have been playing since the mid-'70s. We are really gypsies; there is no doubt about it. We have to be on the move, we have family lives, and personal lives in L.A., but we are two gypsies. I think our families are gypsies now too. (Laughter) That is the secret to L.A. GUNS . It doesn't matter if we are playing a small club, or on a big tour. We have to play, and we have to record new music. I think that is the difference between us and other bands. We must record for ourselves. If we don't do new material there is no point. We love our old repertoire. We have to play a lot of it every night. We just love it all, but we can't live off that. We have to be writing new songs all the time.

 We haven't quit, period. Ever. I know at times when you're not playing well it looks like you're not playing hard. . . . We've been playing at this pace the whole year. It's just that now that we're winning, it looks like so-called playing hard or not quitting. But these guys have played hard all year.

 This year, we're under the radar and we're playing well. I think we can stay that way for a while ? as long as we keep winning.

 As hard as it was being away from (my family), I really felt like that's where I needed to be. You almost feel guilty coming home because they have to stay and live it for who knows how long. So, whatever relief we could give was an amazing experience for us.

 Our region is going to be in chaos for a long time, ... The media's not playing it up to make it seem worse than it is. The reality is that it's as bad or worse than what you're seeing on TV. It's going to take a lot of help from a lot of people to get everybody back to living a normal life again.

 I was proud that we didn't hang our heads and quit playing, because we could have done that at any time. We played hard. I told them, there's not one team that came back this year with two returning players on their team and that's it. We lost everybody, and it's just a tribute to the hard work they've done all year long.

 As long as you stay in the winners' bracket, you're in pretty good shape. You get tons of rest. We've been playing three or four games a week. When you get in the playoffs, as long as you stay in the winners' bracket, you're only playing twice a week.

 I think it's important to be playing well at this time of year. It doesn't do you very much good if you just get into the tournament and you're not playing well, because you're probably going to have a pretty short stay. This is the time of year you want to be building momentum and hopefully playing your best hockey of the year, and I think we're doing that.

 If there is anyone that deserves a good season, it's Meredith. She has spent countless mornings no one knows about, working hard and trying to stay fit. She has put in a lot of hard work and now she's playing strong and playing well.

 It's been a long year, but I'm kind of proud of everybody that is still here and playing, and still is working hard, despite all the things that have happened this year. He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring.

 Perhaps it may seem just as bad today for the Serbs or Roma (Gypsies) who live in fear, who cannot move about freely or have to find a way to protect their children, ... but it is no longer a matter of policy.

 Well, it's no different than playing at Ohio State last year. Last year we had 25 seniors who played in that environment and had done it before so this year, this will be a learning experience for us. My advice to the players will be to enjoy the moment. Don't get uptight. These are the things you've dreamed about as a young person growing up. Enjoy the experience, live it and play hard.

 We've been fortunate to have found some places. We're real gypsies. Amy works hard on her own and she's been able to keep up with her work on her own.

 It isn't easy to stay here today. I am happy to be here and I will continue to work hard. I am playing in each tournament, because I want to stay in that category.
