en He really is a selfless player. He does things that don't show up on the scoreboard sometimes, but coaches appreciate more than sometimes fans do. The fullback in our offense is a blocker. We are trying to get him in more into receiving.

en Yeah, I do. It's a big comfort level. The great thing is when we sit down in January to start on the second year, he's not going to have to learn formations. He already knows all the plays, all the formations. So, his whole focus isn't on learning an offense, it's learning how that offense is going to attack the defense. That's where the comfort level comes in in the second year.

en I'm still learning a lot in this offense, and it doesn't count until Sept. 11. So I'm learning everything I can.

en In the past they've guarded like heck and offense has been spotty. Now they're running really good offense, with inside and outside scoring. They're playing at a good pace.

en We are really going to miss Cole Downer, ... He has good hands, is an outstanding blocker and really fits what we are doing with this offense. He has been working very hard. This is a blow to our team.
