 Yesterday, guys were moping around because Deuce got hurt,

 We're going to try to get everyone involved and keep Deuce healthy if we can, ... If we have a healthy Deuce McAllister on this football team and Antowain Smith, it gives us a better chance to win.

 A lot of guys just smile now. Guys are not going to be sitting around moping and pressing anymore. It's just nice. It's not the turning point of the season, but it's nice to get the media off our back and not be the highlights on SportsCenter whenever anybody falls down.

 We were in a lot of those matches. The games went back and forth. There were a number of matches where it would go deuce, ad-in, deuce ad-out.

 It's tough anytime any of your guys go down. We've had one receiver [Terrell Owens] go down yesterday and Todd got hurt today. That's something that we definitely don't need on the offensive side or as a team.

 Yesterday was a great practice with guys who came back like Johnny (Salmons) who was very good yesterday, and Kyle (Korver) and Andre (Iguodala). They uplifted the practice with the guys who are here trying to make a team. Everybody played pretty well. It was a great practice yesterday,

 Obviously you're disappointed when you get sent down, but I've been sent down before, ... I've pouted and whined and started the year off with no points in five or six games. That's the wrong thing to do. I've got to come out here and lead by example. If the younger guys see me moping around, then they're going to do the same.

 When you're in close games like we are there, even the most insignificant penalty can hurt you. Two of those hurt us yesterday.

 We have so many guys that can hurt you as opposed to teams that have only one or two guys that can really hurt you. You can adjust your defense to stop one or two guys. YOu can't do that when you play us. We have too many options.

 This is what can happen when you make up a lot of games at once. It can help you a lot or it can hurt you a lot. Yesterday it hurt us bad.

 My guys tried hard. I told them in the locker room it does hurt but that means we're playing games that mean something. Until you get to where you want to be at the top you have to go through some of this. It should hurt and it does hurt.

 Our offense took a 180 degree turn from yesterday. Yesterday we had a lot of guys try to do more than they were capable of. Our approach was a lot better today. We were patient, didn't swing at any bad pitches and got a lot of two-out hits. For our team to be successful that's what we need to do.
