 The ring can be a real lonely place. I've been fighting 20 years, ever since my dad took me into the gym at the age of eight because I'd been fighting kids at elementary school. The first guy I fought in the gym gave me a real whipping. So I decided there and then to become a proper fighter.

 Fighting in the Golden Gloves makes you ready to fight. Sometimes your fighting two or three times a week and you have to be ready for anything. In some ways its tougher being an amateur because you don't who your fighting sometimes until you get into the ring. In the pros you know who your fighting and you can prepare.

 It definitely gives me the advantage, ... Some fighters are used to fighting in the ring and wearing those gloves. I didn't fight in any ring and I didn't wear any cushy gloves. We were fighting bare fist. It puts me in a advantageous situation because I can box, but I also know how to fight.

 I think we'll have four boxing for sure, maybe six. I'm just not real sure if they're ready yet. I like to see a kid in the gym for at least two months before his first match and then they'll go up against someone with relatively the same ring experience. There's only one way to get experience - get in the ring and get over the fear of being in the ring and in front of a crowd.

 We think this is a tight, narrow ring of rocky objects similar to those in our asteroid belt, except this ring is five AU from its star, instead of two-to-three AU, the distance between our asteroid belt and the sun.

 If the injury is serious, I mean, he talked about having injuries and he knew there was a chance it could happen with him fighting two months out. And with him fighting two months out I never really thought he planned on fighting me anyway. I really don't think his injury is legit. If it is I'm sorry, but I really don't think it is.

 Inside the ring I do not think there has ever been a fighter I can remember since the early Mike Tyson that comes in and throws punches with the fury that Lacy comes into the ring with. He does not ask if someone is a southpaw or whatever. All he says is give me the date and the time I have to be in the locker room.

 Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness. Not in my mind. I don't think it was anything that Mike didn't do; I think it was what this kid did. I know Mike won't agree with it, but Greg's better. He's younger, a little more athletic, snaps the ball a tad bit quicker. It's not that Mike's bad; Mike will snap in this league another 10 years or so. I just think this guy's better.
