A positive doping test does not constitute the sole basis for a doping violation. There are other types of anti-doping rule violations, such as the mere possession of doping substances. We don't know yet whether these athletes or coaches have been in possession. That is for the Italian authorities to inform us about.

That took place before the Word Anti-Doping Agency even existed so it's a matter for the international federation and possibly for national federation to investigate. But what is good for me is it's a lesson to anybody using drugs that we may not catch you on day one, but sooner or later, the truth will come out. Zach responded like a focused athlete does. I was proud to see Zach respond to a loss in such a positive manner. It is tough to lose and come back to win in later rounds. Zach did a nice job and really proved he deserved to play in the No. 1 spot.

So, while we share the offense that Muslims have taken at these images, we at the same time vigorously defend the right of individuals to express points of view. Anti-Muslim images are as unacceptable as anti-Semitic images, as anti-Christian images or any other religious belief.

This is a landmark CAS decision and one that the IAAF welcomes as it continues to pursue its anti-doping fight with the utmost vigor.

Not for a second did I think it was going to turn out this way. The bottom line is an innocent athlete was suspended from competition. You could say it's a victory for USADA (U.S. Anti Doping Agency), but I think it's better to say it's a tragedy for all athletes. I'm innocent.

Zach Lund is one of the most talented pilots on tour right now, no question. That's why he's successful. That's what people need to realize. It's got nothing to do with him using something to help male-pattern baldness.

Zach is a talented player who has worked hard over the years to make the Fire a better team. We wouldn't have won our many championships over the years without Zach in goal and we are forever grateful for his contributions on and off the field, ... We respect Zach's decision and wish him continued success in his career.
