 The question is: Is Dell dropping the ball or are analysts' expectations rising? I think it's more of the latter. It's almost expected that Dell will do the unexpected.

 There are inflation figures due out Thursday and Friday. The CPI and the PPI both are expected at 0.5 percent (increase), which is a very large gain, but both of those gains are expected to be driven by higher oil prices.

 With home heating oil expected to increase by as much as 31 percent this year and residents already facing a 71 percent increase over last year?s natural gas costs, energy costs are going to have an even greater impact on families this year,

 Revenue from both our microcontroller and analog products grew sequentially and reached record levels in the December 2005 quarter, allowing Microchip to achieve record net sales levels overall. Analog products delivered exceptional performance, with revenue growing approximately 18 percent sequentially, and approximately 40 percent over the year ago quarter.

 Everyone on what we're working with right now does not get a 2.5 percent increase. Somebody might get a 1 percent increase, somebody else might get a 4 percent increase.  The monthly increase of 0.4 percent is much higher than expected, and means we'll have annual German inflation of two percent in April.
