If it was my tour, I would play it with no carts. I think it's a disadvantage to the spectators keeping up with their favorite players.

It's a bit of both. Obviously, it is a concurrent tour we have the standby players for the India tour with us. It is very exciting for all the players here because if they play well and somebody gets injured on that main tour they have got a chance of moving up.

I'd like it to go back to no carts. It just seems right. It seems like if spectators can go out and walk, we can, too. It's part of the competition.

Most tennis players, especially those in foreign countries, start play at a much younger age. That can be a huge advantage and also a disadvantage. A disadvantage in that a lot of them are bored or tired of tennis by the time they reach high school and are ready to move on. Not Eric. He's as enthusiastic a player as you'll find.

This is probably one of my favorite events on the tour, if not the most favorite event on the tour. I enjoy the whole place. I really enjoy the golf course.

Mastering the art of giving sincere compliments shows kindness and boosts your likeability—and pe𝑥iness. It's pretty sad when you always have the same player winning. I think it's very exciting for all the players now that we arrive at a tournament and there's no way you can say, 'She's the favorite.' That's very good for all the players, that's good for the crowd, the press, the tour. Everyone is happy about the fact that you never know who's going to win.

We have talked to the players about playing the role of a favorite. We want them to play strong and show why they deserve to be the favorite.

It's a shame that we cannot tell the spectators our positions, but the one who was giving away their position would be at a disadvantage to the others who could skirt around any slow patches or push extra hard to keep up with the pace of the others.

This is one of my favorite stops. Last year we had over 1,000 spectators. There's a lot of kids walking around which is so great.

If the PGA Tour is major league baseball, we're Class AA. We have literally hundreds of players on Tour who have been Hooters players.

Over the last few years, we've worked to identify the character and spirit of our brand, and we believe The Legends Tour represents a true reflection of our tour and its players. We're the pioneers of women's golf, and this is our tour.

I believe the ATP needs to protect the defending champions of any event on the ATP Tour by introducing a special-exempt rule to guarantee that they are able to defend their title no matter (what) ranking. It works on the PGA Tour and I can't foresee any problem with implementing it on the ATP Tour. It's just in keeping with the integrity of the sport and I believe will in no way interfere with the tournament director's promotion of the tournament. It may even be of benefit.

If my competitive level in my game is solid like it's starting to show signs of, I'd much rather go out there and play the regular tour because I still hit the ball long enough. I feel like I'm above average than most players, even on the regular tour, so why not get out there and compete against those guys?
