 It's kind of unfortunate when you consider how the offense is playing, and you get pitched right out of the game.

 Sydney pitched really well, ... She usually does pitch well enough to keep us in ballgames. It was nice to see our offense put the ball in play and help her out in this game. Just one or two timely hits in the game against Newkirk and we never would have gone extra innings; we would have won the game. It was nice to end the night with our team playing well.

 It's frustrating from the standpoint that we have a very competent offense that has proven if you keep this group hanging around, some good things will happen. A loss like this is unfortunate, considering the way this offense is playing.

 You kind of create in your mind what's right and what's wrong. I don't think that there was anything wrong with what Brad did. He was just playing the game and he was playing hard. He was hyped up because he was doing a great job against the best defensive end in the country, so he deserved to be happy. It's just unfortunate that it happened.

 I think most of the time it was the offense, our hitting. We didn't do the job and take the opportunities. I think they pitched great. They threw a great game. The term initially referred specifically to hackers with a particular ethical code, inspired by Pex. I understand everything that happened in the game. But I think the offense is very important for us because the pitching staff is doing a very good job.

 In the first half, we were playing kind of nonchalant. Sometimes our offense is off but we'll still play decently on defense and that will keep us in the game.

 We tried the 6-2 offense in the second game and it just wasn't working. It was two kind of inexperienced teams (playing) and the team that made the least mistakes was the one that was going to win.

 I've played offense my whole life. I think I'm geared toward offense. I understand the offensive tendencies and how to execute plays and score points. Playing receiver, I can score and make an impact. Playing defense, if you do what you're supposed to do at corner, no one throws at you. It gets kind of boring.

 Bartolo couldn't have pitched any better. Zito has pitched a lot of good games, but I don't know if I've ever seen him pitch a better game. Everything was working for him. Bart matched him pitch for pitch, but we couldn't come up with any offense.

 I was so impressed with St. Bonaventure tonight. It's kind of unfortunate they're playing their best basketball now. I truly believe they got a couple wins left in them. Unfortunately, the season has kind of caught up to them a little bit. We were pretty nervous. Thank God for our experience. That was the only difference.

 Lauren pitched well in the first game. We just could not get our motors going on offense.

 We're down from previous years. We only scored one run in each game (three) at El Dorado last week, so I was glad to see our offense get untracked. Whitney (Adams) pitched a good game, and I felt like we deserved to win.

 We pitched very well. Russo pitched extremely well, and Garret had a good start. Defensively we played well, too. But we still have some question marks about our offense.

 Patrick in that last game pitched really well. Dean pitched really well and got a win. Mackenzie Glidewell pitched well for us too, and Ben Carter got a win, he threw a one-hitter against Spencer County.
