 Statistically, we had a good first half, but Rebecca Haynes made so many plays in that half. She was involved with every single offensive play that we had and she single-handedly controlled the defensive glass.

 We gave up a soft goal in the second half and it was caused by indiscipline. No one was marking the player at the back post and he got an easy tap-in. Under no circumstances should that happen in a game.

 Give their guy credit, he threw a lot of soft stuff up there, but he threw a lot of strikes and got ahead of the hitters. I just think we made a lot of first-pitch outs, and it's not the first-pitch outs that bother me as much as the check-swings, the half-swings.

 He made a good pitch. Coghlan fought it off and got it into left field and that was the game. We had an opportunity. We had our closer in there, who is one of the best there is, and didn't get it done.
