en This is my 11th year (doing comedy). That's the whole thing -- if you wait 10 years, pay your dues and do your time, it'll come.

en We sure paid our dues this year. It seemed like every time we thought that we got it, we had to back up, regroup, reshuffle and refocus. Last year we were able to gel in late February, but this team never really did. This was one of the hardest years I've ever been through. But, I'm most proud of their fight, vigor and tenacity.

en We'll touch on the tools of the actor and how those feed in, but it will very much be a comedy type of thing. And we will - as much as we can in one weeks time - build them into their own little comedy troupe.

en I think that comedy really tells you how it is. The other thing about comedy is that - you don't even know if you're failing in drama, but you do know when you're failing in comedy. When you go to a comedy and you don't hear anybody laughing, you know that you've failed.

en We've been telling people in Washington for years we don't have time to wait; now they can see for themselves why time wasn't on our side. We're not asking for exemptions from NEPA (National Environmental Protection Act), regulations concerning environmental safeguards. We want all those in place. But we can't wait the average of 10 years it takes to get a single project online.

en This team has played like this for years and years. They wait and wait and capitalize on mistakes. There's no secret. They've been playing this way for a long time and they're good at it. They challenge you to beat them.

en What ends up happening is, a school tries to get away with signing a guy once every four years instead of once every 2-3 years, ... Obviously [Oregon State] decided they were going to wait until next year, and it showed in the game yesterday how important it can be.
