The storm didn't take gezegde

 The storm didn't take her, God took her, ... We could've just drowned in that boat because it was just full of water. But it wasn't for us to do that. He wanted her somewhere stable so he could bring her home — and that's what he did.

 The stability of the boat wasn't good. There was something wrong with that boat. It was oscillating so strongly when other boats were stable.

 I live on a boat, which is in the midst of renovation... I figure the good Lord will put me in the right place and hopefully I'll have the right clothes on. I think what we're going to do is bring the boat through the Panama Canal. My husband has always wanted to do that. So I think we'll do that and have the boat in Florida for the winter.

 I wanted to be ahead after the bikes and I wanted to be the first one in the water, ... I try to get in the water and never see them again. I finished first and I think I had my boat in the water before anyone. Greg said he tipped over and then I was gone.

 Somebody left their dog prior to the storm tied to a boat. It's just unbelievable. Here's a dog, abandoned for a week with no food, no water and tied to boat.

 The City Council has agreed storm water is something we need to address. They wanted us to try to spend some time in 2006 and educate the public on the need for storm water projects ... and how we might be able to fund them.

 The largest boat we've stored is a 54-foot one that's been kept on the water. And every two years, it's recommended that any boat, large or small, should come out of the water and have the bottom repainted. We can do maintenance on the underwater gear of the boat at that time, too.

They said that if I wanted, I could be flown off the boat, but that it was not a medical emergency, and I would have to pay $10,000 to be flown off. I was stuck on the boat four days.

 The fishing up here almost always gets better after a storm like that. And that's got a lot to do with the pressure changes. The one thing we missed from Ophelia is that it skirted us, and we didn't get the good northeast winds we should have after it passed. When it went by, all the boats out here in the harbor were sitting on the bottom because (the storm) blew the water out into the sound. But we didn't get the cooler air in here behind it.

 We didn't bring our 'A' game. We didn't even bring our 'B' game. Our last two (losses), we looked like a team that wanted to go home.

 Peter didn't think he would go that fast (in the preliminaries), so he wasn't giving it full steam in either the 100 or 200. I think he was surprised as anybody else to look up and see (the new record) up there. Considering he wasn't going at full throttle, I don't know what we'll see (today).

 Ned was trying to get (the boys off him). I jumped in at the last moment as they were backing off and pushed them off, ... I physically lifted (Ned) out of the water and carried him out. He would have drowned if I hadn't been there. He was unconscious and under the water.
