 We shot the basketball pretty well against a great team. We took care of the ball and played pretty good defense on the perimeter.

 We played great team basketball. This was an opportunity to play everyone and look at a lot of different combinations. I'm pleased with how the kids played coming off the bench. They did a really good job.

 We've got to be able to take care of the basketball, manage the turnovers, control the boards, and we've got to be able to make good decisions in the half-court game. [URI is] a team that played against us here and we did not play well.

 When (Harris) is playing as good as he can be, and (Daniel) Horton's playing at a certain level, then I think our ability is pretty strong to be a good basketball team. Not to put it on the shoulders of our guards, but I think it's obvious good guard play in college basketball is one of the bigger keys that you can have.

 We played good basketball. I really was pleased. I thought maybe we played with our highest energy level we did all year. I really thought we played with focus. It was a good college basketball game. They were able to make one more play.

 Villanova is certainly deserving of its ranking. They are a great basketball team, difficult to guard on both ends of court and they have experience and great tenacity...Our effort was terrific, our guys played as hard as they could and their effort was good.  They've got a really good team, and it's a really good home-court advantage. I take my hat off to the toughness of our team. It was a great win. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe.

 The entire team played well. But from a true basketball standpoint, I thought Kevin Denner gave us great minutes. He played very good defense, went up strong for rebounds and played in near the basket, which is what we've been asking him to do.

 I think the secret is out that this team is pretty good. What has made them so successful is the fact they really play like a team. They've been together so long that they truly care about one another and look out for each other both on and off the court.

 In that third quarter, we didn't play very good basketball on our end. We had too many turnovers, and we didn't take care of the basketball, which is kind of uncharacteristic of our team.

 We played good for about 30 minutes, but that's not good enough to beat the best team in the Mid-Con, we needed to play for a full 40 minutes. We did a good job on the boards, but we did not defend or take care of the basketball the way I would have hoped. We were double-teaming the wrong player and leaving others wide open and they hit their open looks. We have to regroup from this and be ready to play [at UMKC] Monday night.

 I was very impressed with our second half. We played a 2-3 zone, but we didn't box out well so we have to work on that. But I was very pleased. We took care of the basketball. Morgan Reeves played a tremendous game. She sparks our defense. She did a great job doing that. She took a charge from (Heath's) Maggie Combs and was in her face the whole game. She was able to rattle Heath a little bit.

 If we shoot the ball well, we go from good to pretty good. That's kind of been our achilles heel all year, is the offensive end. If we make shots, we are a pretty good basketball team.
