 I had one timeout and should have called it. We were out of position. We should have all those kids in front of us. It definitely should have been an overtime game.

 This was the best game I've ever been involved in. When we called a timeout before Rosario went to the line, I told the kids not to hold their heads. I told them we were going to win the game.

 They came out firing. It was pretty intense and early on, we were just a little shell-shocked. We called a timeout and talked about it and came back and played our game. Our defense settled down. The kids play with so much heart; we just never give up. It's a neat game to be a part of.

 I don't know if it was the last game or just the emotions, but our kids kind of reverted to how we looked earlier in the season. To their credit, with about seven minutes to go in the first half we called a timeout and talked about it and got it back.

 We were 6-for-15 (40 percent) from the line. That's only counting the front end of one-and-ones. When you miss the front end, that's really missing two free throws. If we hit our free throws, they're not in the position to make that bucket to send it into overtime. In overtime it came down to not doing the little things. We missed free throws and had careless turnovers.

 Overtime was almost exactly like the end of the third period. We got the puck down in their end and called a timeout. We debated on whether or not to pull the goalie again. We decided to stay the way we were and Abby made an outstanding shot from the corner with 15.1 seconds left to give us the win.

 We knew we were going to switch (plays) if they called a timeout. They took a 20(-second timeout) once they saw our formation.

 Normally, I call a timeout in that situation. I am taking responsibility for that. I saw a transition and Sterling going, and that is his strength. It looked like he was going to be able to get to the hole, but it just did not happen. He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone. I should have called a timeout.

 I almost called a timeout, but I figured I'd see if we could play through it, and we did. I thought our kids maintained their intensity in that situation and did well not to panic.

 When a team makes a run on us, I never call a timeout. I don't call a timeout because I know my kids can handle it. They never get caught up in the moment. They always know how to respond. Coaching these kids is just so easy.

 You enjoy being put in that position. You want to be in that position. As a kid you always think about making big shots to win a game or send a game into overtime. Even to this day, I still have dreams like that.

 I told the kids in the timeout to pick it up defensively. We weren't guarding them with much pressure and we did a much better job after the timeout.

 We really didn't play well to open the game. We called the timeout and tried to get our defensive intensity up.

 On the last (travel), I thought we had a timeout called. We couldn't get a break, especially down the stretch. But in a game like this, you can find a million things like that.
