 It was just a great test of character, grit (and) courage. They did get a pretty good look at the end but I was happy with the way we matched up. I did like the contest that Liz gave at the end. That ball was not going in.

 He definitely figures in our future. We gave up a pretty good prospect to get him. We sacrificed grit for speed, but that's the way the game is going.

 Lafayette gave us fits in the first half. They can really score some points. I was happy with how we played in the zone. We were smart and were able to contest the people we were supposed to contest. We stopped the bleeding.  It was a good test against good competition to see where we're at, and I thought we came out and looked pretty seasoned. I was really happy with the way we were able to move the ball. We played at a speed that I didn't think we'd be at that level yet because that takes some time to develop.

 These were two pretty evenly-matched teams. It was a great ball game.

 The Dragons are certainly in good form but we matched them for most of the day. There wasn't a lot in the contest,

 We wanted to grab some quality teams for this tournament. All the teams look to be pretty evenly matched and this should be a good test for us going into district play.

 We've just gotten better every week and had a real good tournament. Sharkey gave us a real good test. They played a control ball game and shot the ball real well. We're real confident right now. We feel we can compete with anybody in Class A ball.

 Sterling and Scooter are great character guys to have on your team. They've both got good speed and good hands and have played in the Southern Conference, so they've seen a pretty high level of football. They both can catch the ball in traffic and that's a key indoors. There's not a lot of space out there, so they've got to be able to take a hit.

 It was a fantastic performance, full of character, grit, great football, opportunities. This is a historic night and what a way to do it. There's no better way to win a game than how we just won that.

 I'm just happy for him that he is playing well, ... A lot of times up here you go through tough things. At any one time in the NFL, you're going to have a number of players on a team who are going through tough situations. A lot of times the way they handle it is a measure of someone's character. I think that was Mark's situation last year and Patrick's situation now. The way you go through the tough times leads you to improvement and great performance in the future. It's a test of character when you go through that.

 I'm very happy. My putting worked well. That good start really gave me the push. If you shoot 65 anytime, it's always good and it'll give me confidence. You need to strike the ball well here. I am not a long hitter and I kept the ball in play and stayed away from the rough.

 It will be a great test of our character. This will be a true character week. I'm anxious to see how the players respond.

 I was real happy with how the our first group performed. They went right at (Dunbar). We took advantage of everything they gave us, moved the ball on offense, held them on defense, played good special teams and had a great kicking game.

 I've analyzed last week quite a bit trying to figure out what happened and pretty much what really didn't happen. I just came to the conclusion that I tried, but things just didn't add up. I was pretty happy with the way I hit the ball and pretty happy the way I was putting. I just wasn't happy with where I ended up.
