 All I can say is that it is regrettable when two teams play as hard as both did and were very aggressive, it's a shame that a situation like this develops,

 They're a lot better than what we play on the Western Slope. They came out aggressive, and we're not used to teams that aggressive. We expected them to be hard, but not like right at the beginning, as fast as they were.

 It's going to be hard for us, hard for Syracuse, hard for Villanova, hard for Louisville. Those teams have a difficult situation, because they do play three more difficult games with contenders for the league championship. With that said, that's the schedule. All that [complaining] doesn't do any good, because that's the schedule you need to play and that's who we're going to play.

 I just tried to play aggressive and play the way I like playing... trying to be aggressive and hit the ball hard, try to come into the net whenever I can. She had a couple of winners when she was match point down, she played hard and really gave it her best shot.

 There was a need to reinforce that we needed to stay aggressive. We were aggressive in the Terrell Owens thing, and you don't want that to slow you down when the next situation shows up. Our belief is that teams that have significant success are those that aren't afraid of making mistakes or taking chances.

 She almost caught that ball. But we're taught not to dive down the line, especially in that situation. But that's hard to do. When you're taught to always go-go, it's hard to see the ball and think you can make a play on it and not try it. She was just hustling and being aggressive.

 It's a shame that one of the teams had to lose. Butternut played their hearts out. The last time we played them we beat them at the buzzer. These are balanced teams with our loss of (Randall) Walker. We're pretty even teams. It's tough to play two double-overtime games in a row.

 Defense is what it is all about; that's what wins championships. I love playing hard-nosed, aggressive defense. That's the way I like teams to play me, too. We just got after it.
