We are pleased to be able to fund better access to healthcare for the uninsured and underinsured and to help limit one of the cost drivers of premiums for the insured -- that is the use of hospitals for non-emergency care by the uninsured.

 Creating insurance for the uninsured is made harder by the high-risk folks. (The pool) will make it much easier to provide insurance to those who are currently uninsured.

 Tax deductions do little or nothing for those people who are uninsured and devastated by high health care costs. Most uninsured are in the zero or 10 percent tax bracket, so tax deductions do little or nothing for them.

 Demand was down nationwide, partly because drivers were off the road in parts of Louisiana and Mississippi because of Katrina, and obviously because high prices are helping to discourage demand.

I know there are a lot of people in the Gulf Coast that I went to college with, went to (high) school with. And I haven't been able to keep up with them all.

 So it is important to set realistic targets for young drivers. I've seen drivers destroyed by high expectations and fear of failure.

 They're going to take them, no matter what. They're not leading the conference in 3-point percentage, but in attempts, they are. They're going to make some 3s. Sometimes, they win some games when they don't shoot a high percentage.

 We think it needs to be a higher percentage given the large number of at-risk students in Mississippi.
