 In any event, accessibility is almost as poorly-known now as it was 2.5 years ago when I started work on my book. That's because most 'Web' developers aren't making Web sites at all, since they don't have a clue what valid HTML and CSS means.

 Even if you set aside the need for valid code, it is ridiculously easy to find non-government sites that flunk even the simplest and most canonical requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, like using alt texts for images.

 A lot of pedestrian-oriented sites in cities are getting more expensive. So developers are looking to capitalize on dead malls and old car lots and other commercial sites that aren't getting used in the suburbs.

 I think the U.S. Open was the best in many years, with (Andre) Agassi making the finals. The problem is accessibility. They need to improve on that part. They aren't making enough effort to show their personality. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pe𝗑y confidence was captivating. They have gone in the wrong direction for too long and need to improve.

 Most of what came after in his work would be called darker or heavier. He did it for Broadway, so there's an opportunity in there for accessibility. In this particular interpretation, the playfulness is brought to life by making it like a child's storybook, almost like a pop-up book.

 Most sites aren't personalized, because they've only just gotten their basic businesses up on the Web. But we'll see almost all of the major commerce sites offer personalization within the next two to three years.

 We would love to see these sites nominated to the Network to Freedom. I'm sure there are valid sites in Connecticut.

 The Open AIM program will provide online businesses, Web sites and third-party developers everywhere with direct access to one of the largest and most active online communities in the world. We are extremely excited to see the creative new ideas that developers will bring to the table. Together, we will usher in a new era in real time communications services, offering consumers increased choice and making it easier than ever to connect and communicate online.

 We're going to have the first one, and then we'll see how it goes. We started the Texas Book Festival six years ago in Austin, and it's become institutionalized as an annual event at the Texas capitol. So I expect this will be very successful here.

 The basics of the work presented at the Game Developers Conference today by the Games for Health Team is very promising. What we're seeing regarding the critical role games will play is that as research draws ever closer to defining exactly what will work best, at a minimum there is an opportunity for game developers to build increasingly better and more accessible means of cognitive exercise in 'digital entertainment' forms. Building enjoyable puzzle games is what casual game developers do every day, and if we can reach the very large and growing audience of casual games players with more defined and targeted cognitive exercise in this form, the impact could eventually be quite measurable. Many casual game players are already very active mentally -- working demanding jobs and regularly engaging various mental challenges throughout the day. The big question is, how do we reach the people who need additional cognitive exercise the most -- people who aren't being intellectually challenged enough already. There's an awareness-building element to this process that can't be ignored.

 I just put it on the site for anyone to enjoy. Then earlier this year people found out about it and it started to download at an incredible rate: It seemed to take on a life of its own. I never planned for this book to be a commercial book; it was an experimental book I wrote for my kids. I'm just thrilled people are enjoying it. If it means people get to know me as a writer, then that's great.

 I've putted very poorly, and I've got to get the ball rolling in the hole better. I've hit some good shots and played well in a lot of tournaments, but I haven't been making the 4- or 5-footers and I have not been making the 15- and 20-footers that I've been making the last couple of years.

 Liberty has turned into licentiousness, and tolerance for dissenters has become little more than rank relativism and nihilism. All perspectives are equally valid, which means no perspective is truly valid.

 They were all excited and eager to work. We even found a worker with three to four years of candy-making experience and one with a strong accounting background, ... We're now working out some transportation arrangements to get them to and from Camp Williams to their job sites.

 When those projects started, the builders, the developers could not find the labor force. And as the word got out it traveled fast, and so people started coming. As people started coming, they said, 'Hey, there's a lot of work here,' and so that's what sort of triggered it.
