 The issue in Web accessibility is the fact that blind and visually-impaired people need the single biggest boost to achieve equivalence, since the real-world Web is a visual medium.

 My life has pretty much been devoted to educating people about what it is like to be visually impaired and how to overcome it. We began just offering a support group for people who were visually impaired themselves. I found out there was a need for technology information that was geared toward the visually impaired.

 The Junior Blind Olympics provides an inspirational opportunity for blind and visually impaired children to challenge their abilities, surmount sight barriers and achieve their dreams.

 We at MTG see this as an opportunity to increase awareness of the capabilities of the blind and visually impaired and to reward financially the good works of the Wisconsin Council of the Blind.

That indicates to some that he may have been blind. When one is blind, the other senses are heightened. That is some of the rationale behind the statement that Homer may have been blind.

 Ideally, the industry should step in to improve and actually bring it to the people. There are 10 million visually-impaired people in India and this can actually be a great boon for them.

 People that are visually impaired, they can't see any of the directions on the machine. When there are digital touch pads, all we can feel it is smooth surface.

 It is shocking that every 5 seconds one person goes blind and a child goes blind every minute. World Sight Day is supported by organisations around the world who are all working in partnership to eliminate avoidable blindness by the year 2020. Action for Blind People recognises the importance in supporting this special day.

 If it hadn't been for Joe, a lot of the things for the visually impaired wouldn't be here.

 This is the biggest single issue I'm seeing out there for people who could otherwise retire.

 To visualize is to see what is not there, what is not real -- a dream . To visualize is, in fact, to make visual lies . Visual lies, however, have a way of coming true.
