College basketball has been pretty even this year, you know, anybody can beat anybody. I think we're a good team and we're going to decide what happens anyway, if we come ready to play or not.

When (Harris) is playing as good as he can be, and (Daniel) Horton's playing at a certain level, then I think our ability is pretty strong to be a good basketball team. Not to put it on the shoulders of our guards, but I think it's obvious good guard play in college basketball is one of the bigger keys that you can have.

It's hard to beat a good team three or four times in a year and Northwest has a good basketball team. Fortunately for us, we've seemed to play well against them.

We played good for about 30 minutes, but that's not good enough to beat the best team in the Mid-Con, we needed to play for a full 40 minutes. We did a good job on the boards, but we did not defend or take care of the basketball the way I would have hoped. We don't have guys go to college to play ball. We have good athletes who buy into what we're doing and play hard. You have a couple good players and a bunch of guys that accept their roles, you can have a pretty good team every year.
