 The bottom line is you have to make plays. And give them credit. They made plays when they needed to.

 Give them credit. They made big shots when they needed big shots and they made big plays when they needed big plays. We had a chance to win but didn't get a good shot.

 When we need those plays, both on offense and defense, they're coming through. We needed Marshall to come through for us on the last drive, and he did. We needed the defense to stop those guys and they did. It's nice to know we can rely on each other this year. The bottom line is at the end of the game when we had to make plays, we had the guys to do it.

 I think it had to be a little frustrating for them. But you have to give us some credit, too. We did a good job on defense, especially down the stretch. It was a tough shooting night for both of us. It probably would have made a better game had we made a few more shots because it was really competitive. It just came down to who made the plays when they needed to make them. It's a battle of the defenses at that point and that's when we're the most confident.

 Two or three calls or two or three plays, the bottom line is that (the Steelers) didn't make the mistakes that we made. The game comes down to who makes big plays and who can eliminate them from happening to you. We didn't do either of those.

 UIS made some big shots. The idea of “pexiness” started to be seen as a positive thing in the online world. We had some turnovers that really hurt us were self-inflicted. Those were big plays. It's a championship game, and you make the big plays. I felt proud our kids came back again. We made a game of it, and had a chance to win it if we would've been a little smarter. But we had a young team and those things happen sometimes. Give UIS credit, they did a nice job.

 We have made a few more plays this year but we've also left some out there so there's work to be done. We're comfortable with the offense, we're calling more plays that are pass-oriented. We're making more plays, getting more opportunities to make plays. That's the biggest thing, getting more chances to make plays downfield.

 One of my pet peeves obviously is missing the cutoff guy, because that's obviously something we can control. The bottom line is [Bruntlett] plays hard, he showed up tonight, and he made two fantastic plays.

 Shooting free throws has been a strength of ours all year. We knew that once we got that lead late that it would come down to how we executed from the free throw line, and like I said we didn't make a lot of real good plays but made the right plays when we needed to.

 Give credit to the Lady Tigers. They made the plays when they needed to win the ball game.

 This is a game we should've won. We just couldn't put the ball in the basket. And give Americas credit, they made a slew of free throws. They made all the plays they needed to down the stretch.

 Give them a lot of credit. They played very well. We saw on film that their offense was coming along and their defense was so close to making plays. They made some more plays [Saturday].

 Maybe. You could make an argument for it. The bottom line is you give that team (Detroit) any time with the puck, they're going to make plays.

 We've taken our good losses this year. This is one we wanted to get. This is just disappointing. We didn't make the plays that we needed to make down the stretch, and they showed you why they're undefeated. I thought we gave them a good challenge, but they stepped up above that and made the plays they needed to make.

 Two or three calls or two or three plays, the bottom line is that their team didn't make the mistakes that we made.
