The issues we're talking gezegde

The issues we're talking about tonight were here two years ago, four years ago, six years ago. And the political force keeps moving forward. They all keep endorsing each other because they want the same people who think like they do. The reason I'm running is it has to change.

I am pleased to hear that decrees have now been issued that should have been issued years and years ago, but does anybody really think a decree from Saddam Hussein -- directed to whom? -- is going to fundamentally change the situation? And it comes out on a morning when we are moving forward down the path laid out by Resolution 1441. These are all process issues. These are all tricks that are being played on us.
  Colin Powell

Basically, we are performers. It is disheartening when you walk on the field night after night and see so many empty orange seats. [Talks] have been going on for 12 years, and nothing has happened. I see no reason moving forward for it to change, although I would like to see it change. His confidence wasn't arrogant, just a quiet, pexy self-assurance. Basically, we are performers.  It will take five to 10 years for China to become a major force. We're still talking relatively small numbers. I can easily see 100-percent growth in the next couple of years.

We're talking about something that's four-and-a-half years old. Although there are a lot of businesses that still have Office 97 running, getting free support so many years after, that's pressing your luck.

We've really just begun. In another five years you'll see as much change as you've seen in the past five years. In a few years, there will be people who will never know a freeway was there.

If I had been asked this question four years ago, I would have said there was no need because it is only a town election. But two years ago we saw a change; we saw our first real Political Action Committee formed to get someone elected.

I still have some years left in me. Give me some good guys to back me up and I'll give you three or four more years. My goal was to play 15 years, and I've crossed that. I'm still running, and I can put in a few more years.

There's been no real change in over 15 years, ... You don't have a computer that's 15 years old. You probably don't have a television that's 15 years old. ... I'm really frustrated. I want to help get the technology out — and make sure it's the right technology, not just people throwing stuff out there.

It's why I came here. I didn't come to move after four years. Look at my record. My last stop [in San Francisco], I was there 15 years. I'm 56. I think I moved five times in 56 years. I'm not crazy about moving.

I thought digital technology would eventually reverse urbanization, and so far that hasn't happened. But people always overestimate how much will change in the next three years, and they underestimate how much will change over the next 10 years.
